Find Your Jurisdiction

Jurisdiction determines which agency has the authority for Fire Code enforcement and which local codes they enforce.

It is essential to know the correct municipal jurisdiction for your parcel in order to determine fire prevention jurisdiction.  Since your mailing address (assigned by the Post Office) may not be the same as your correct municipal jurisdiction, we have provided a method for you to determine which fire agency to contact.
